Janet Young

Janet Young

My journey to the teaching world has traversed some unlikely paths; I began my working career in finance, where I spent 14 years in International Banking. Trying to find more meaning in my life led me to art school and a yoga practice of meditation and chanting, which has lasted over 30 years.

The yogic philosophy that serves as my guide hails vibration and pulse as the fundamental organizing principle of the universe. It encourages contemplation of how our thoughts and senses inform our experience. It illuminates the nexus between our daily choices and our life experiences – this connection continues to fascinate me today.

In 2012, after a traumatic loss, I experienced a powerful sound healing which sparked my passion for more learning. Certifications in Sound Healing led to becoming a Board Certified Polarity Practitioner.

Today my practice is grounded in a combination of touch, talk and sound healing modalities which all help clients to become better related, coordinated and integrated within themselves and the worlds around them

Kim Pinckley LMT, RPP, RPE, CST

Kim Pinckley LMT, RPP, RPE, CST

Kim began her journey in the healing arts in St Petersburg, Florida where she attended The Humanities Center School of Massage Therapy in 1997. After graduating with honors, she split her time working at a beach resort giving relaxation massage and cultivating her own business, serving in a more therapeutic way.  Two years later Kim found the modality that would not only change her life but add another dimension to her practice, Cranial Sacral Therapy. She has since studied this therapy with 3 different schools in 3 different states and has been practicing it for almost 20 years.

In 2010 Kim and her family moved from the beautiful beaches and tropical weather of St Petersburg to the spacious deserts and arid climate of Phoenix, AZ. Once arriving in Phoenix, Kim attended the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts where she met her passion, Polarity Therapy. While completing a Mind Body Wellness program at SWIHA, she also studied Reiki, Nutrition and Hypnotherapy and eventually became certified to teach Polarity and Cranial Sacral Unwinding Therapies. It is also here in Phoenix where Kim was introduced to Native American Medicine Wheel Ceremony and other traditional Native teachings and healing practices which are also integral to her work.  Kim enjoys any and every opportunity to share these teachings and modalities. You can find her doing session work in her North Central Phoenix office, classroom setting at the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts, and talking circles or retreats in any of her destination retreat locations around the world!

Laure Porche

Laure Porche

Laure is a healer and craniosacral/polarity therapy practitioner, artist and dreamer whose passion is assisting others on their path to a deeper and fuller life. Fascinated by the many ways in which body, mind and emotions can be harmonized, she is also interested in how the different fields of consciousness (ancestral, collective, etc.) interact with each other and influence our choices and our inner states.

Mina Maeda

Mina Maeda

As a young girl growing up in Japan, fascinated by the natural beauty of nature and the radiance of life, she felt a strong connection and energetic exchange with them.  After 12 years of working in natural therapies such as aromatherapy, she discovered Polarity Therapy and Craniosacral Therapy. She found that her childhood experiences were helpful in working with the majestic life energy system.

Today, she is a practitioner of Polarity and Cranio Sacral therapies, and also offers healing work in the field where people can return to nature. And she continues to explore the world of healing arts.  Mina’s work is like a translator of the energy as it is.  The life energy is as if the inner wise is always inviting us to let it flow naturally, to interact with the outer world, and to be returned.  She is delighted and loving in this work, to be there to see how the process is delivered and to be a bridge between you and the energy.
